Welcome!
Hi. Thanks for checking out my website. I'm the author of several books of poetry and the Family Tree Cozy Mystery series. My family and I were part of the back-to-the-land movement of the 1970s. We built our own home, raised organic food, and listened to the birds for four decades. I now reside in Lexington, KY, and work as a writing mentor at The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning.

COMING LATER THIS YEAR
When their vacation plans are disrupted by a savage blizzard, genealogist El Turner and sweetheart Chief of Police Alan Poe are disappointed; however, disappointment quickly turns to shock when Poe’s sister is accused of murdering her rich boss. Accidentally mistaken for an employee at the victim’s mansion, El uses the blunder as a chance to go undercover and identify the real killer. One problem: way too many suspects – the chef, the secretary, the ex-wife, the business partner, even the mother. Could this turn out to be murder where the butler really did it?
